Vintage Trifari Brooch- Large Golden Flower Pin with Brown Jewels (sold)

Here we have a gorgeous large golden sunflower brooch from the American costume jewelry company - Trifari.  This vintage flower pin has a 3-D effect with curling golden petals cupping a central cluster of topaz brown coloured crystal jewels.  The gold plated finished is textured and has a pleasing pale colour.  This sunflower pin measures 2.5 inches in diameter. The brooch fastens with a pin and secure roll over type clasp and is in excellent condition. This vintage Trifari Brooch bears the full signature on a rectangular plate on its reverse and has all the style you would expect from the late 1960's to the early 1970's  when it was made. Trifari have long been one of the pre-eminent costume jewelry manufacturers in the USA with a deserved reputation for quality and style. Famous wearers of Trifari Jewellery include American first ladies such as Mamie Eisenhower in the 1950s and the Company were also commissioned to produce the fabulous vintage jewellery used in the Madonna film - Evita.
