Victorian Silver Plated Hair Comb with Connemara Marble Shamrock Decoration (SOLD)

Here we have a pretty and very wearable silver plated hair comb dating from the late Victorian era. The hair comb has a decorative border with pierced and engraved scrolls. It is further enhanced by a perfect Connemara marble shamrock in its centre. The teeth or tines of this Victorian Silverplated Hair Comb are slightly twisted to help it sit well in the hair. This is a delightful example of a bygone style and it is particularly nice with the Irish connection - the marble and the Shamrock design.
