SOLD Buba The Owl - Brooch by Lea Stein of Paris - brown with red sparkle

Well does he look wise or does he look stern?  He certainly looks great on the lapel of your jacket or coat!  Here we have a collectable Owl Brooch, named Buba by his creator Lea Stein of Paris.  This fab Owl pin is made of Rhodoid, a type of early plastic, so is light and easy to wear.  This contemporary bird brooch is in naturalistic colours.  The brooch features stripes of yummy caramel, honey and cream tones. There is a beast black pupil to the eye with a white rim and then clever use of a black and orange sparkle fabric for the outer eyes, beak and feet. On the reverse, this brooch is mottled ivory brown cream in colour with just the little feet picked out in other colours.  The brooch has the classic Lea Stein signature on its white metal pin, which fastens with a secure roll over type clasp.  This Owl brooch measures 2.5 inches by 1.75 inches and is layered.  Buba the Owl has character and it is easy to see why he is one of the popular designs from Lea Stein.  Here is more about her work.....
