Lea Stein of Paris Brooch Buba The Owl Blue Owl Pin (SOLD)

Well does he look wise or does he look stern?  He certainly looks great on the lapel of your jacket or coat!  Here we have a collectable Owl Brooch, named Buba by his creator Lea Stein of Paris.  This fab Owl pin is made of Rhodoid, a type of early plastic, so is light and easy to wear.  This contemporary bird brooch is in blue and turquoise colours.  The brooch features A “crazy paving” style design with shades of turquoise and blue enhanced by gold accents. With black, turquoise and cream used for his eyes and the same cream ivory pearl for the beak and feet. On the reverse, this brooch is like a rich velvet patter; deep blue in colour with just the little feet picked out in cream.  The brooch has the classic Lea Stein signature on its white metal pin, which fastens with a secure roll over type clasp.  This Owl brooch measures 2.5 inches by 1.75 inches and is layered.  Buba the Owl has character and it is easy to see why he is one of the popular designs from Lea Stein.  Here is more about her work.....
