LEA STEIN Penguin Brooch - Yellow face, Green Beak and Black Flippers! (SOLD)

Here is a King Penguin Brooch by the celebrated Parisian Jewellery designer - Lea Stein. A cute and quirky vintage inspired brooch which is just the thing to cheer up winter days when worn on the lapel of your snuggly, warm coat!  However this cheeky chap is perfect for a summer outing too so why not pin him on a linen blouse.  Made of layers of cellulose acetate this smart bird brooch is sure to raise a smile.  This brooch measures a little under 3.5 inches by 1.5 inches at its tallest and widest parts.   All of Lea Stein's wonderful jewellery creations are hand assembled so no two are ever the same.  Our yellow faced bird pin has an ivory white marble effect coloured body with black wings, flippers and eye and his beak is bright green, whilst his face is bright yellow and he has a blue neck and red bib.  On the reverse of the brooch you can see how Lea Stein's team use every laminate in their assembly of these pieces as there are some random multi coloured pieces used for the wing and foot and a different striped white laminate to back the body.
