Kadinsky style Fox Pin by Lea Stein Paris (Sold)

Here is an amazing abstract print fox pin.  The pattern has green,white, blue, yellow, mauve, orange and  pink random rectangles all over it.  The colour palette and the painterly style are reminiscent of the Bauhaus artist Kandinsky. So here we have the best of both worlds a piece of jewellery designed by a famous Parisian artist; who in her way is paying homage to a world-renowned painter and teacher, Kandinsky! This black eyed Fox brooch - an iconic piece from the Parisian Jewellery designer, Lea Stein - is one of the most popular of all her designs.  From its introduction in the late 1960s to date this Fox brooch will always delight in its many varieties and colourways.   This Fox pin is made from cellulose acetate and is a fabulous item of costume jewellery and a real statement brooch for your wardrobe or collection.

This contemporary Fox brooch measures almost 4 inches by 2.5 inches at its widest parts and has the traditional Lea Stein pin back with a roll-over type fastener.  The reverse of the brooch is finished in a marbled blue laminate. The piece is signed - 'Lea Stein, Paris'. This is a most distinctive jewel from Lea Stein who is famed for her jewellery, particularly her animal designs which have featured cats, foxes, dogs, birds and many other things over her history.
