Art Deco French Celluloid Hat Pin for A Cloche Hat - Flapper Hat Flash

Here is a stylish Art Deco period (1920s - 1930s) hat pin, hat trim or as they were known “hat flash” from France. It is made of the early plastic Celluloid.  This hat pin trim has engraved dashes and lines with white, inset diamanté and silver pins all used to great effect. This Art Deco design hat flash was designed to adorn a flapper cloche type hat but is super wearable on any hat or, if a little guard end was used, in a lapel too. The actual shape of the hat pin resembles a long black liquorice which is mounted on a strong metal pin to ensure it will sit well when in use on a hat. This fashionable hat trim measures 8cm by just over 1cm and is in great vintage condition.
