A Vintage designer signed SPHINX Jewelled Brooch in Autumn Colours
Here we have a superb vintage Brooch signed by makers ' Sphinx’ - high quality costume jewellery designers under the Ciro brand in the UK. This gorgeous pin is a triangular shape and depicts a stylised flower with leaves in a gold tone finish. This brooch is set with large, bright, glass crystal jewels in a myriad of Autumn colours and a variety of shapes. There are three large brown navette shaped stones, three smaller Austrian style orange navettes and a further nine large round jewels in this shade and then a cluster of orange/ golden yellow Austrian crystals too. The metal work, gold plate, Is in great order to the front and on the reverse of the piece. The Brooch, which fastens with a secure roll-over type clasp is approximately 6cms by 6cms. This vintage brooch has all the style you would expect from the late 1960's to early 1970's when it were made. This brooch is in very good condition, perfect to add a touch of glamour to any lapel.
