A Vintage designer signed Caithness Glass for Stratton Jewelled Pin

This is a vintage piece of Stratton Designer Jewellery; a stick pin with guard set with a miniature piece of Caithness Art Glass.

The pin and guard are gold plated metal.  The round jewel, domed like a miniature paperweight, has been created by an artisan glass worker and is unique. One of the features of Caithness jewellery that is appreciated by collectors.   It has fine millifiore canes worked in a pretty, soft pastel orange with contrasting white, brown and yellow too.
This pin will arrive in its original presentation gift box which is sturdy and has a classic blue and green tartan fabric finish.  Inside the branding for Stratton and Caithness are clearly seen. 

This stick pin has all the style you would expect from the late 1960's to early 1970's when it were made.  A versatile piece of designer costume jewellery, it can be worn like a brooch, a hatpin, a scarf or veil pin and is in excellent condition so perfect to add a touch of glamour to your outfit or lovely to gift.
