1970s Costume Jewellery Set of Silver-tone and Scarlet Red Glass Brooch and Earclips

Here we have the brightest red and silver vintage Brooch with matching clip on earrings which would be perfect for the Christmas season but special all year round.  The set consists of oval red art glass of the most divine scarlet red colour sitting in silver toned mounts with multiple pronged claws holding these jewels in place.  As well as the fleur de lys style claws there is a neat twisted rope border around each of the ovals too.  These are most definitely a “notice me” set of costume jewellery and in is a large size too.  The Brooch, which fastens with a secure roll-over type clasp, is approximately 6 cm by 4cm and the clip earrings are just over 3 cm in  length and just over 2cm in width. I have a one pound coin in one of the photos to help you gauge the size. The clip on earrings have good spring clips with a sweet heart shape cut out on the clip itself.   This vintage set has all the style you would expect from the 1970's when they were made.  This brooch with its matching earrings is in really good condition.
