Edwardian Celluloid Haircomb with Diamante Jewels

This delightful old hair ornament is a celluloid hair comb from the Edwardian period circa 1910.  It has an Art Nouveau feel to it with two nice curled loops  inset with tiny sparkly diamante jewels, litle silver pins and is also engraved with lines and dots.  The comb has two prongs and is gently curved making it very good for using in a swept up hairstyle.  The colour of the comb is browns and caramels to imitate natural tortoiseshell. This antique haircomb measures 5.5 inches long and is about 2 inches wide.  It is in excellent condition and is ready to wear or add to your collection of vintage hair ornaments.
