This is such a fun bag, it just must go to a party or to the ball! Here we have a gold satin evening bag decorated all over with nice big golden sequins. From the centre of each sequin dangles a delicious yellow faceted acrylic teardrop shaped bead. Each of these bright yellow drops is suspended from a row of little glass seed beads - WOW! This is certainly a 'Hong Kong' beaded bag from the 1960s or early 1970s. It has a pleasing round shape and is slightly padded to make it nice and plump! Inside is the same fabric, a smooth satin in a creamy gold tone. It has a pocket for a mirror. The bag has a gold tone frame with a 'kissing' type clasp. The clever bit with this bag is the handle; it will just swing inside completely.Two great bags in one - you can have an evening bag on a chain or you can have a groovy clutch purse, the choice is yours! Approximate size is 5.5 inches by 6 inches with an 11 inch chain. The condition is excellent too!
