Vintage Silver and Cultured Pearl Cufflinks (SOLD)

These Rhodium coated silver cufflinks are each set with a creamy cultured pearl.  Dating from between the 1960's and the 1980's these cufflinks look brand new and have no signs of wear at all.  This may be due to the rhodium coating over the real silver metal.  It is common for  fine sterling silver jewellery manufactured in Japan or the USA to be finished with rhodium as it prevents tarnish and saves you having to clean the item!   These cufflinks consist of a circular open shape with an irregular half moon to one side and a quality cultured pearl dotted on top. They have the look of 1960's scandinavian design about them. The silver is quite chunky and there is a folding back bar shank.  These stylish cufflinks are in excellent condition.They come to you in a Green Faux Leather Antique Style Presentation Box with a neat gold 'dot and dash' decoration tooled onto it.  The cufflink box has a green velvet  and cream satin lining and it fastens with a goldtone clip over clasp.
