Vintage Necklace and Earrings with Diamante and Crystal Heart Drops (Sold)

Here is a delightful set consisting of a silvertone necklace on which the focal point is some two dozen open set crystals and a heart shaped crystal dropper  plus matching earrings.    The necklace measures just about 16.5 inches and has a diamante studded end chain and bolt ring type clasp to enable you to vary the length to suit your neckline.   The earrings are just over an inch in size and have a 'screw-on' type fixing.   This set , which is bound to attract attention, is very hard to date as it has all the romantic style of the Victorian era with it's delightful crystal heart droppers with faceted edges. The necklace also has a touch of the Art Deco and the 1940's - 1950's so it may well be a Retro set of jewellery.  This suite is in very good condition, with more than two dozen open-set crystals in various sizes and shapes - both round and 'chaton' shaped on the necklace and sparkling foil backed diamante on the earrings and in the necklace chain.
