Flowers and Pearls make an ideal choice for a bridal necklace. This vintage necklace, which dates from the 1940s is light, delicate and pretty. It is also in very good condition. This vintage necklace is made from plastic and glass beads that have all been coated with a pearlised material. The necklace has been hand constructed to make three floral clusters and then the faux pearl beads are spaced with little white glass bugle beads. This vintage 1940s necklace measures just 16 inches and there are two points where you can fasten it so it can come up to just 14 inches for a higher look. The largest gorgeous flower centre piece measures about 1.5 inches in diameter and the two either side of it are slightly smaller. Each of the clusters is backed with gilt metal and the clasp too is a gilt metal bolt ring type. There is a line wear to the back metal plates and a little on the pearls but not noticeable really when worn.
