Vintage Cocktail Necklace - 1970s Diamanté Jewellery

Austrian crystals of the highest quality ensure that this vintage necklace is a real beauty.  Lots of round, crystal  diamanté  jewels in various sizes and in a fringed style make up this sparkling necklace. It is set with both white crystals and amethyst mauve coloured jewels. It is a great example of 1970s statement  jewellery but it is also reminiscent of the earlier glamorous Art Deco era with its play on geometric shape.  This piece of vintage jewellery is showstopping!  First we have the colour contrasts; diamond bright whites and deep purple amethyst coloured crystals too. Various sizes of  claw-set diamanté jewels hang in five separate fringes from a crystal set central square and move gently making all that sparkle even more intense. This necklace is in excellent condition; it is of superb quality with all the crystal jewels having been claw set into a gold toned metal .  The inner length of the necklace is approximately 14 inches round the neck with the fringed part of the necklace being 3 inches on the longest part. The necklace fastens with a jewel-set push clasp.
