VINTAGE 9CT GOLD AND CULTURED PEARL TIE-CLIP - HALLMARKED 1967 (SOLD)
This is a top quality piece of gentlemen's jewellery. This tie clip is English and is made from 9ct yellow gold, it has the crown mark with the numbers 375 to indicated the gold standard. Further hallmarks reveal that it was assayed in Birmingham (the Anchor) with a letter 's' for the year 1967; the makers mark is JS in a shield. This fabulous tie-clip has an engraved design on the front and it is set with three perfect cultured pearls which graduate down in size. The largest pearl is approx 6mms in diameter and is a cream colour, the next pearl is silver grey and is approx 5 mms in diameter, with the last pearl being a steel grey colour and measuring approx 4mms in diameter. The tie clip is a 'slide on' style and is in excellent condition. The bar part of the tie clip measures 4.5 cms in length by 0.5cms wide. This very smart tie clip would be perfect for a wedding or for any formal occasion yet its classic appeal makes it perfectly suitable for everyday wear too!
