The Larch Tree with Pine Cones & Needles Pin 1960s signed Exquisite Brooch - (SOLD)

Here is a realistic Larch brooch. Feathery needles of pine and two neat and realistic pine cones make up this lovely brooch by Exquisite. Finished in cold enamel, this brooch is one of a range of a dozen Leaf brooches and earrings designed in the 1960's by Exquisite Jewellery Ltd., of Solihull, Warwickshire, England.  All of their designs were registered to prevent other companies copying!  This Larch Pine pin features two lovely cones along with lots of pine needles in its design.  The metal has a silvery gold tone finish to the branches and stems of the leaves and the reverse of the pin where the signature 'Exquisite' can be clearly seen.  The cold enamel was hand painted onto the pieces which is why the colourways vary such a lot.  This one has two brown cones and  green needles finished with yellow tips. It is in good vintage order, just a few areas of paint loss at the high points, but lovely enough to wear or gift! It has a secure roll over type c clasp fastening.  This vintage brooch measures approximately 3inches by 2 inches.  It is very wearable and would be just the thing for your vintage costume jewelry collection!
