Sterling Silver and Diamante Necklace- 1950s Necklace suitable for a Bride (Sold)
It is hard to find diamante crystal necklaces set in Sterling Silver but here is a fabulous example. Dating from the 1950s this necklace has top quality Austrian crystal jewels, some round and some peardrop shaped. This necklace is in the Edwardian style with a fringe of teardrop jewels. All the diamante jewels are bright and shiny and are foil backed giving them an amazing sparkle. Each crystal has been hand set and every jewel is held in place by four neat claws. Throughout this vintage necklace is set in Sterling silver with a neat chair and bolt ring clasp. There are three individual marks - the word 'Silver' appears twice on the jewellery cups and a further mark is on the clasp itself. This vintage necklace lends itself to a most special occasion so would be delightful for a bride. This fab necklace from the 1950s measures 15 inches in length and the longest crystal and silver drop part is about three quarters of an inch. This vintage silver and crystal diamante necklace is in Excellent order.
