SOLD Cameo Brooch - Lady wearing Jewellery - in Gold on Silver mount
Here we have a vintage hand carved shell cameo brooch. The brooch is oval in shape and set into a deep Gold on silver mount with benefits from a decorative rope twist border. This cameo most likely originated in Italy and the lady is exquisite with such attention to detail. She is a jewellery wearing girl as she sports a bead necklace oval teardrop earrings and then a head band with more beads trailing from it. Her hair is curled and she has a whimsical smile on her very pretty face. This cameo is a great size being 50 cms by 40 cms. It is in excellent condition and fastens with a secure roll-over pin too the back.The frame has various makers marks and the words 9ct on silv to indicate it is a gold on silver item.
