SOLD. BABY Vintage Sterling Silver Baby Brooch circa 1900 to 1920

This Sterling silver 'Baby' pin dates from the first quarter of the 20th Century.  It is simply marked 'silver' on the back and has the word Baby picked out in capital letters in a cut-out  with an engraved dot and loop design all around. These antique brooches were popular Christening gifts and were worn on baby gowns.  The reverse of this silver brooch has a guarded clasp and the pin is brass.  This collectable old silver brooch is an elongated oval shape and is in great condition.  The silver baby brooch measures 1.5 inches by just under half an inch.
