SOLD 1960's Pink Rose Brooch - Signed Exquisite Pin offered on Original Display Card

This is a  perfect cold enamel Rose pin by Exquisite Jewellery Ltd., of Solihull, Warwickshire, England.  It was one of their range of Birthday Flower Brooches introduced and extremely popular during the 1960's.  These pins came in two sizes with a flower for every month of the year!  This is the larger sized one! The Company also had a range of Leaf pins and matching earrings, as well as many other lines in quality costume jewellery. The Pink Rose Brooch is the pin for June .  It has a silvery tone finish and has the classic "bow" tied around the bunch of flowers which features on all these designer pins.This brooch is particularly desirable for collectors as it is offered in mint condition on its original display pad. The pad is constructed from a polythene type plastic with the Exquisite crown trademark.  So we have the wording "An "Exquisite" Creation to the top left hand side of the card and the flower type " Rose" in the centre of the display card.  The wording is in a purple pink tone.  It is in Excellent, as new, condition yet is a brooch that is 50 years old!  What a great gift for anyone who has a June Birthday or a love of roses or  just because you like it! Approximate measurements are  6.5cms (2.5ins) by 4cms (1.5ins).  This item fastens with a rollover type clasp.
