SOLD 1940's/1950's Gilt Metal Glove Clip in the Form of Clasped Hands

How handy - a lovely pair of clasped hands are on this nifty and useful Glove Holder.  The glove clip is gold plated metal with a textured patterned finish to the flared wrist. Our clasped hands have a gilt chain attached.  This is an interesting item for anyone collecting Vintage fashion,clothes and accessories. The idea was to fasten the chain around the handle of your handbag and use the grip clip to hold on to your gloves.  This fashion accessory dates from the late 1940's to early 1950's when it would have been just the thing for a sophisticated lady about town! This vintage glove clip measures a little over 2 inches by half an inch approx and it is in excellent condition.
