SOLD 1920s Buddha slide buckle in Faux Ivory Celluloid

This fat little Buddha on a slide buckle would look great on a hat band or could be used on a ribbon to make a bracelet, choker or belt.  Dating from circa 1920 the Smiling Buddha is made of celluloid and is robust and ready to use.  This buckle would have been made to imitate Ivory and it has the look of antique ivory with a yellowing cream tone.  It is in good order and measures 3.5cms by 3.5cms with the Buddha standing in relief.
