Simple Chrome Tie Clip with Chain Detail - dates to circa 1940 (SOLD)
Here is a chromed white metal tie clip dating to the 1940s. This is a simple 'slide on, slide off'' tie clip and it is in very good condition. Measuring 7 cms in length and almost half a cm in width. It has a chain detail too. I believe the chain was intended to retain the other end of the tie and keep things neat and tidy. That said it works quite nicely to have the chain to the front as a decorative effect if that pleases the wearer!
