Shield Brooch Celtic signed Miracle - nice triangular shaped vintage brooch (sold)
Here is an attractive triangular shaped brooch - one of the vintage jewellery designs by 'Miracle'. It is always good when you jewellery by the Miracle company as their designs are traditional and well made and there are lots of different types of Miracle Brooches. This signed Miracle brooch is finished in a pewter tone metal. It has lots of dark green and deep blue enamel effect square glass panels, whch look almost like enamel and three round green glass cabouchons on it. The central triangle looks like a design from the Book of Kells within traditional engraved patterns on the metal. I would estimate this piece to date from the 1970's onwards. This Miracle brooch measures just under 3 inches by 1.5 inches . This traditional celtic jewelled brooch is beautifully finished on the reverse, where it bears the classic 'Miracle' signature. The pin fastens with a guarded roll over type clasp. This brooch is in excellent condition and would appeal to collectors of Celtic and Miracle jewellery alike.
