Scallop Shell Dress Clip - 1930s -40s Dress Clip - Vintage Pressed Glass Dress Clip (Sold)
A bright green Art Deco Dress Clip is on offer here. Dating to around the 1930s - early 1940s this is a really nice example of pressed glass jewellery. The Scallop Shell is finely detailed and benefits from a silver painted rim and top. It is likely that this vintage dress clip originated in Czechoslovakia as this was a specialist area making wonderful glass beads and other glass jewellery and ornaments such as buttons and buckles. This vintage dress clip is in excellent condition. It fastens to your frock or jacket by the use of a clawed white metal clip. The clip is good and tight and functions perfectly. Measurements for this collectable vintage shell dress clip are 2 inches by 1.75 inches.
