Royal Worcester Brooch - Floral Decoration - Oval Ceramic Vintage Brooch (SOLD)
Ceramic floral brooches have been popular since the 19th Century in Great Britain. This vintage floral brooch dates to circa 1970s and comes in a blue card presentation case with a velvet fitted stand holding the brooch safe within. The box has the Royal Worcester name in gold lettering on the front. The brooch consists of an oval plaque of fine Royal Worcester Bone China held in a gilded metal frame to make the brooch. The ceramic oval has a typical Royal Worcester floral design in soft colours. The design is 19th Century in style and shows an open pink rose with a yellow, orange and purple primrose, some harebell type flowers and assorted foliage and leaves in moss and true green. Very attractive and offered in excellent order this pretty vintage pin was made in England by a much-respected and collected ceramics company. The brooch measures approximately 50 cms by 35 cms and it has a simple 'c' shaped pin retainer to keep it in place.
