Rainbow Rhinestone Necklace - 1940s - 1950s vintage necklace (sold)

This is a very pretty vintage necklace in the Romantic revival style.  It has a floral theme with little crystal jewels arranged like daisy or flower heads.  The stones used for this vintage necklace are rainbow rhinestones.  Rainbow rhinestones are foiled diamante crystals which have stripes of red, blue and green through them, the effect is lovely.  More than 50 individual round rainbow diamante jewels have been cup and claw set to create this feminine necklace.  The metal has a white rhodium plated finish with chain and bolt ring fastener.  This necklace is in very good condition all round with lovely sparkling jewels.  It would make a wonderful necklace for a bride or bridesmaid or would add to your collection of vintage jewellery.  Measurements are 15.5 inches in length with a 1.5 inch drop to the centre.
