Rainbow Rhinestone Iris Glass Collar Circa 1940s Art Deco

This is a very smart classic Art Deco rainbow rhinestone  necklace dating from the 1940s era.  There are more than one hundred bright, sparkly iris glass small round faceted stones used in this necklace.  Each colourful jewel is slightly different in its striped and lined effect with green, blue, pink and diamond white used to perfect effect. Each of these individual stones has been hand-set and is held in place by 4 claws.  The metal is silvertone in colour and is Rhodium plated so will stay nice and shiny.  This vintage necklace measures 16 inches in length with the central feature drop being three quarters of an inch. This pretty necklace fastens with a bolt ring clasp.  It is in excellent condition and is ready to go partying with you!
