Poodle Dog Brooch 1950's - Vintage Pin on Original Card- 'Fifi the French Poodle' (SOLD)
This 1950s Dog Pin on Original card is really a collectable costume jewellery Brooch. Here we have a cute little white poodle with a red collar, she looks very tidy as if she has just been clipped and curled. I am naming her Fifi the French Poodle! Unused, but stored for all these decades, so Fifi the French Poodle is in mint condition, just like new! This vintage dog brooch is on the original display card and dates from the 1950s when items like this were made in celluloid and other plastics. This vintage brooch has a brass metal pin with a 'c' type guard. Ready to wear or add to your collection of vintage dog brooches and poodle pins. There is always something very appealling quirky dog pins and Fifi will certainly make you smile! When made it would have been a low cost novelty item, the plastic is light in weight and has been moulded to give the detail of the poodle's curly hair do and shape. Details are the card measures 6 cms by 4.25 cms and the early plastic poodle pin itself is approx 3.5 by 5 cms.
