Petrol Blue Vintage Diamante Necklace - 1950s - 1960s Austrian Crystal Necklace (SOLD)
Petrol Blue Austrian crystals have been used to stylish effect in this simple and striking vintage necklace. Two rows of round jewels, graduating in size from 7mms in diameter to 4mms in diameter, cover the 13 inch long central decorative part of this necklace with a further single, spaced line of jewels and loops making up the 2.5 inch long fastening chain. A little hook can be placed in any of the 7 loops to vary the necklace length to suit the wearer. The Austrian crystals are bright and sparkling and their colours of blues, greens and purples will vary depending on light and movement. The gorgeous effect is enhanced by a smooth silver-tone white metal Rhodium plated finish. Every one of the 100 plus stones in this necklace is faceted and has been claw-set by hand. This vintage costume piece is a necklace in excellent condition. This collar is the kind of necklace that was popular from the late 1950s through to the mid 1960s but is such a classic that it will always be 'in fashion'!
