(On HOLD) Akoya Cultured Pearl and Sterling Silver Tie Pin - Tie Tack- Vintage Cravat Pin Japanese
Offered in it's original bright blue plush box, this high quality Tie Pin would be ideal wedding wear. Dating to approximately 1970's this vintage Tie Tack has a rectangular shape with rounded corners. The metal used here for the front part of the pin is Sterling Silver with a rhodium finish to prevent tarnish and negate the need for cleaning. The design has a smooth panel of real silver as a central stripe running from corner to corner effectively cutting the shape into two triangular sides each with a textured surface. On top of this silver background which measures approximately 13 mm by 10 mm sits a superb, smooth Japanese Akoya cultured pearl which is approximately 5 mm. The cultured pearl has a bright lustre and a creamy tone. In super condition, the tie or cravat pin fastens with a separate white metal simple pinch mechanism back guard attached to a loop which slips over a button for added security in the wearing. The back guard is a USA made part, in Rhodium metal.
