Ola Gorie Silver Brooch - Tudor Style - Based on Book of Kells (Sold)

Here we have a simple and pretty Sterling silver brooch from Ola Gorie the famous Scottish silversmith working in Orkney. This classic Celtic brooch is one of the items of Sterling SIlver jewellery previously made by the Ola Gorie Jewellery Company. but no longer in production.Loosly based on the Book of Kells this vintage brooch has a Tudor feel to it with its swirls and whirls. The smart Silver Pin is in Excellent condition. This Ola Gorie Siver Brooch measures 4.5 cms by 1.5 cms. It has the quality you can expect from a world renowned award winning jeweller and a design that is ancient yet has appeal in modern times. These is a textured pattern to the reverse of this silver brooch where the item has the following hallmarks upon it: OMG for Ola M. Gorie and the letters ST.SIL for Sterling Silver. This silver Ola Gorie Brooch fastens with a secure 'roll over' type clasp.
