Ocean Liner Brooch - Art Deco 1930s (SOLD)

 Travelling on Ocean Liners was all the rage in the 1930s and this lovely early plastic brooch is a classic example of the Art Deco design of that era.  A genuine 1930s item, this little red pin is made of Casein, a Bakelite era plastic.  The ocean liner sits on a half circle and would look fabulous on a matelot top or blazer, very jaunty and very nautical!  The little red vintage brooch is in excellent condition and would add a bit of art deco styling to your vintage wardrobe.  Dimensions for this lovely vintage brooch are 1 inch by about 1.5 inches and it fastens with an old fashioned 'c' type clasp.  The back bar and pin on this vintae 1930s brooch are white metal.
