Motorbike Tie Clip - Vintage Motorcycle Tie Pin by Stratton, England (SOLD)
Here we have a Vintage Stratton tie clip depicting a motorbike. This tie pin dates to the 1970s and is part boxed in its original display case bearing the Stratton gent with top hat logo and the words 'Made in England'. The tie pin is in excellent condition but the lid, or plastic bubble top is missing from the box. The tie clip is base metal finished with gold plating and has black cold enamel finish to highlight the details like the petrol tank and wheel guards. It measures a little over 4 cms in length and is almost half a centimetre wide. This vintage tie clip fastens with a hinged clip with ratchet gripper, known as a 'Nippy Clip'. It is marked with the words 'Nippyclip' 'Made in England' and 'Imitation' to indicate that it is not real gold!
