Lozenge Shaped Antique Mother of Pearl Cufflinks (SOLD)

These natural Mother of Pearl Cufflinks are in an elongated lozenge shape with slightly pointed tips.  The shell is still bright and shiny with an irridescent quality to it.  The links are a good size being approximately 1inch in length and 1cm at their widest.  They attach together with a long white metal shank.  I would estimate that these links date from the late 19th Century into the early 20th Century. These antique cufflinks are in excellent condition.They come to you in a Green Faux Leather Antique Style Presentation Box with a neat gold 'dot and dash' decoration tooled onto it.  The cufflink box has a green velvet  and cream satin lining and it fastens with a goldtone clip over clasp.
