Large Sycamore Leaf Brooch signed Exquisite1960's (SOLD)

This lovely cold enamel brooch is one of a range of a dozen Leaf brooches and earrings designed in the 1960's by Exquisite Jewellery Ltd., of Solihull, Warwickshire, England.  All of their designs were registered to prevent other companies copying!  This Sycamore pin features two strong shaped leaves and four seed heads, the sort that fly round like tiny helicopters when they are tossed in the air by small children!  The metal has a gold tone finish to the branches and stems of the leaves and the reverse of the pin where the signature 'Exquisite' can be clearly seen.  The cold enamel was hand painted onto the pieces which is why the colourways vary such a lot.  This one has brown and yellow seed heads and variegated green/brown leaves with gold tone around the edges.  It is in good vintage order with a secure roll over type c clasp fastening.  This vintage brooch measures approximately 2.5 inches by 2.5 inches making it a large sized version. It is very wearable and would be just the thing for your vintage costume jewelry collection!   I also have a small sized version for sale and they would look good grouped together on your favourite Autumn jacket.
