Edwardian to 1920's Mother of Pearl Cufflinks (SOLD)

Neat and classy, a traditional pair of antique cufflinks dating from between the Edwardian period (1901 to 1910)  up to the mid 1920s era.  These cufflinks are made from natural shell, mother of pearl.  One side is in a Hexagon shape and the other in an elongated lozenge shape with a white metal boss to the centre of all the mother of pearl parts.  The cufflinks are in good condition with a couple of irregular nicks to the shell which look like they have always been there and are common when things are made using natural materials.  These vintage cufflinks attach with a chain link to the reverse.  They come to you in a Black Faux Leather Antique Style Presentation Box with a neat gold 'dot and dash' decoration tooled onto it.  The cufflink box has a black velvet  and white satin lining and it fastens with a goldtone clip over clasp.
