Edwardian Hair Comb set with Pink and White Jewels
Here is an antique hair comb from the Edwardian era, dating to circa 1905 - 1910. It is a little misleading to call it 'Edwardian' however as it was probably made in France where they had great skill in making celluloid and paste set jewellery. So here is a lovely loop comb with a crescent shaped top which is just bursting with bright and twinkling jewels in a delicious raspberry pink contrasted with sparkly white crystals. The jewelled crescent is encased in a neat gold line to give even more class to the design. The celluloid is in a toffee amber colour which is rich and warm. This hair comb has nicely curved prongs to hold it in place in your hair style. In excellent order the comb measures approximately 5.5 cms across and 12 cms from the top of the curved comb to the tip of the prongs.
