Daisy Ball Earrings from the 1960's - Wacky and Wonderful Wedding Day Wear!

What fun these early plastic Daisy Ball earrings are!  They are made from Polythene, a material which was new and exciting back in the late 1950s and early 1960's.  These  vintage earrings are made up of clusters of white and yellow daisy flower heads and are light and gorgeous and just the thing for summer weddings! Each early plastic daisy ball is about 1 inch in diameter and is suspended on a vermeil earwire measuring three quarters of an inch approx.  We have converted these earrings onto our new, specially sourced, handmade Balinese gold on silver earwires and we love the way the balled flower decor on the earwire matches the daisy ball!The earrings are pictured on our life-sized mannekin, Ellie, a retro shop fitting which is perfect for modelling old jewellery!
