CricketerTie Clip - Vintage Cricket Tie Pin by Stratton, England

Owzat! Here we have a Vintage Stratton tie clip depicting a cricketer in action, bat raised in the air, leg protected by his cricket pads . This tie pin dates to the  1960s to 1970s era and is part of the Stratton Sportsman Series.  It is boxed in its original display case a classy black and gold lid over a special insert with two stickers - one bearing the Stratton gent with top hat logo and the words 'Made in England' 'Imitation Jewellery" ; the other the word "SPORTSMAN". This tie pin is in excellent, unused condition. The tie clip is base metal finished with gold plating and has engraved details on our cricketer. It measures a little over 6 cms in length and the batsman is just over 2cms tall. This vintage tie clip fastens with a hinged clip with ratchet gripper, known as a 'Nippy Clip'. It is marked with the words 'Nippy-clip' 'Made in England' and 'Imitation' to indicate that it is not real gold!
