Cricket Bat Tie Clip - Vintage Stratton Nippy Clip 1960s -1970s Gold tone in Original Box

Owzat? Here is a tie clip in the form of a miniature Cricket Bat. There is great attention to detail on the bat which is nicely shaped and has a handle which has over painted black detail on the grip .  The tie clip is base metal finished with gold plate
 It measures 5cms in length and is 7mms wide at its widest point.  This vintage tie clip fastens with a hinged clip with gripper which allows you to slide the clip onto your tie and set it in place. The reverse of the clip is marked. NIPPY-CLIP  'Imitation" 'Made in England'. This would be a good tie pin to add to a collection of vintage novelty tie accessories or a great gift for a sporting cricketer. This vintage Stratton tie pin dates to the 1960s to 1970s period. It is offered in its original Stratton Black and Gold patterned box on a Nippyclip pad with the top hat wearing gent image which is one of the Stratton logos used on their gents accessories.
