Cream Faux Ivory Chrysanthemum Panel Bracelet circa 1930's(Sold)

Eleven individual celluloid panels threaded onto stretchy elastic make up this delightful bracelet.  These amazing pieces of vintage jewellery were mostly made in Japan to imitate carved Ivory and have now become very collectable and increasingly difficult to find.  The panel bracelet is particularly rare with bangles being the more common.  Dating from the 1930's it has a perfect colour and subject matter for bridal jewellery. Each chrysanthemum panel is approx 2.5 by 1.5 cms and the bracelet should fit a small to medium wrist. It is in good vintage condition with a few marks and a patina which adds to its antique look.
