Classic Sterling Silver Cufflinks - 1970's Gentleman's Accessory (SOLD)
This lovely pair of Sterling Silver Cuff links are straight from the design books of the early 1970s. These cufflinks were made in Great Britain and are in excellent condition. Each cufflink is fully hallmarked on the reverse with the silversmith's initials ' MJ ld' and the Leopard's Head for London plus the Lion Passant for English 925 Sterling Silver and the letter 's' to indicate that they were assayed in 1973. The Lion assay mark also appears on the back 'T' bar fixture so these were a quality item. The front of each cufflink is a rectangular shape with curved ends and it is textured with a diamond cut pattern which would have been engine engraved onto the silver. Smart and ready to wear, these cufflinks will be presented in a modern style gift box which has not been photographed with them but is a velvet lined, faux leather effect modern rectangular box which will be handy to store the cufflinks in or would be good if you are presenting them as a gift.
