SOLD Cameo brooch - natural shell in 9ct gold mount

Here is a lovely vintage cameo, it is hand carved on shell. The design is a portrait of a lady with a Grecian style hair band and robe. This high quality cameo is set into a hallmarked 9ct gold mount which is prettily finished with a rope and scroll border. This brooch has a simple 'c' type clasp and has the benefit of a gold safety chain attached which can be used or taken off. Measuring 2 inches by 1.5 inches this gold brooch is a stunner and is in excellent condition.
