Blue Beaded Bracelet in the Miriam Haskell Style - 1950s - 1960s
Vintage blue glass beads, little faux pearls and pearlised leaves have been wired together to make this fabulous bracelet. Delightful and feminine the bracelet, simply flexes to fit and sit! It would fit small to medium wrists really well. The bracelet dates from around the 1950s to the early 1960s and the hand wired work is reminiscent of that of Miriam Haskell, USA. The glass beads used include some faux pearls, then in blue some clear glass beads, some translucent glass beads and some satin glass beads to make a delighful floral arrangement for you wrist. The colours are soft blue and the first two professional photographs whilst lovely are not really the true colours. Photos 3,4 give the most true and good replications of the real colours in this gorgeous bracelet. However the opalescent nature of the beads and the shimmery pearlised details do give variations of colour in different lights such as daylight and artificial light. These features add to the effect of this special piece of jewellery. Bracelets like this is now sought after by vintage fashionistas it is easy to see why they are very pretty. This bracelet is very good condition and only shows wear on the plated metal area at the back where the main beadwork flower panel is. This is so feminine it would be lovely to wear for a wedding.
