Bangle Bracelet - Faux Coral Pale Pink Celluloid - 1930s - 1950s Floral
This is a beautiful floral Celluloid bangle with lots of very detailed recognisable flower designs all over it. The decorations include a Cabbage Rose amongst lots of cheerful open Daisies, Leaves, Chrysanthemums, Lily of the Valley and exotic Lily flowers too - all appearing on this great bracelet. The Coral colour is a natural salmon pink which enhances the carved-effect and moulded floral pattern. Measuring three quarters an inch in width, the bangle has an inner diameter of 2.7 inches across approx, making it suitable for a small to medium wrist and hand. These amazing bangles were mostly made in Japan to imitate carved Coral, carved Ivory and Carved Jade. The Coral colour bangles are more rare and have now become very collectable and increasingly difficult to find. They look delightful worn grouped together or with old bakelite bangles just the thing for your vintage wardrobe, vintage costume jewellery or early plastic collection. This vintage bracelet is in excellent condition.
