Art Deco Necklace - Fine Paste Necklace in Chromed Metal Setting Circa 1930s (SOLD)
A Deco Necklace which is absolutely divine is on offer here! This would be absolutely perfect for bridal and party wear. It is an Art Deco original paste set necklet which uses the circle, flower and leaf motifs that were popular in the early to mid 1930s era. This vintage necklace consists of a chromed metal setting with chain detail. Set into the chrome are lots and lots of tiny twinky paste jewels. The centre of this genuine Art Deco necklace consists of five circles, each topped with two stylised leaves flanking a clustered flower. Next there are two curved details graduating to a single stone then some more decorative details ending in a three stone bar and the chromed chain. This delicate and pretty jewel measures just over 16 inches in length and it fastens with a decorated push in type clasp, also in chromed metal.
