Art Deco Hair Comb set with Foil Sparkles

Here is an antique hair comb from the Art Deco era, dating to circa 1920 - 1930.  This stylish hair ornament was probably made in France where they had great skill in making celluloid and  jewellery.  So here is a lovely loop comb with a crescent shaped top which is adorned with a clear and black curved decoration with inset silver sparkle flakes.   The celluloid tines, or prongs, of which there are too are in a cream colour to imitate natural ivory. This hair comb has nicely curved prongs to hold it in place in your hair style.  It would sit nicely as a side comb or be good to anchor a bun. Offered In excellent order the comb measures approximately 5.5 cms across and 10.5 cms from the top of the curved comb to the tip of the prongs.
